Sir Donald Traverse Access

The Sir Donald Traverse links the high ridges around Mount Sir Donald in Glacier National Park, Rogers Pass, in serious alpine terrain. 

From the Illecillewaet campground area, follow the Sir Donald Trail into the basin below the Vaux Glacier, then gain the Uto–Sir Donald col via the moraine crest or the lower bivy and upper gully system.
