Adams Snowfield

A long way to walk for just one line, this route is best combined with a day of skiing in King Ravine. These snowfields are long and prominent, offering wide open skiing with epic views of Great Gulf. Summit Mount Adams via a trail of your choice, Airline makes a good skin, especially with ski crampons. From the summit, walk down to the top of the snowfield and put skis on. Ski wide open terrain to treeline and hike back the way you came. Exit via King Ravine. Note: I’ve also heard of people skiing Synder Brook but I haven’t done this and don’t feel comfortable encouraging it until I know more.
