Updated 05/08/2026Route Details
Duration: 4- 6 hours, Distance: 70 - 80 km
Today we drive along the Kali Gandaki River, the world’s deepest gorge, toward Tatopani, passing through Kagbeni, Ekle Bhatti, Jomsom, and Marpha, known for apple orchards and traditional whitewashed villages of the former “Forbidden Kingdom of Nepal.”
We continue via Kalopani (best views of Annapurna I) and Ghasa (Upper and Lower Ghasa), descending through Kopchepani as the landscape shifts from dry Mustang terrain to lush green forests with views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.
After 4 to 6 hours of driving we will reach Tatopani. On arrival, you can let your tired feet and sore muscles relax after all those days of climbing rocky mountain trails. The famous hot springs at Tatopani can cure your aches or pain.
