Hellbrook

Take Profanity (hiking required) Hourglass or North Ridge (more direct) to the Col between The Chin and the Adam’s Apple. Ski along the Hellbrook Trail around the backside of the Adams Apple to the top of a skinny brook. A narrow drop in leads to a skinny, faint riverbed. Ski down as the line slowly opens up, with glade hits and tributaries along the sides, offering plenty of places to find fresh turns. Eventually everything funnels you into one big gully. Enjoy these natural halfpipe turns, making sure you catch the traverse left before you start to encounter cliff drops in the lower gully. Nice turns through natural glades bring you down to the Notch Road, which you can skate back to the gondola.
