Mad Hatter is a blue singletrack mountain bike trail in the Alice Lake & Highlands area near Squamish, built for intermediate riders who want a playful ride on turns. Expect a mellow descent character with lots of cornering, plus technical-flow elements like berms, and it’s common to see it used as an introduction to blue-square riding.

Where it sits in a typical ride: many riders link it into the Alice Lake Loop North, using the climb up to Mad Hatter to earn the downhill. For wet-weather days, be ready for reduced grip on dirt and any exposed rock—scale your line choice and avoid committing to speed through corners if it’s damp.
