Otterbody - Grand Teton

Max elevation: 13,776' Linear distance to top: 6 miles Vertical gain to top: 7,140' Run length: 6,670' Max slope angle: 48+ Technical: 3-4 short pitches of ice climbing on the ascent, and four 60 meter rappels on the descent (two 60m ropes recommended), 1-3 ice screws, 4-6 stoppers (to beef up anchors if needed), and technical ice climbing tools, steel crampons are needed. I would bring some beaks, and knifeblade pitons as the rappel anchors are hard to find. Considerations: This line is the real deal. Some will do it in two days but most just get an alpine start and do it in one epic day. I guide this, and all the other, objectives.
