Pleasure Trail
Route Details
Pleasure Trail is a Squamish double black diamond–level, downhill-only mountain bike line in the Alice Lake & Highlands area. It’s built around slow-speed, high-commitment technical riding: exposed rock rolls, slabby sections with uncertain runouts, and terrain that punishes mistakes quickly.
Expect recurring drop risk (including around 10-foot drops) plus a mix of committing features such as well-built wood elements and jump/bridge infrastructure. Sections can get treacherous when loose and dry, and wet weather can make multiple parts slippery rather than just “grippy.”
The trail’s reputation is reinforced by how it’s typically ridden: riders plan an initial, careful first run and only start building speed after they’ve mentally mapped the awkward entries and exits. When conditions are questionable, inspect key committed features before committing, and treat the line as expert-only riding even if you’re comfortable elsewhere.
Pleasure Trail opened in 2017 and includes wood features built to be challenging; trail work and maintenance also continue over time. Check current trail feedback and watch for changes to ramps and any feature outages before you ride.
