Route Details

Rob's Corners is a short, green-rated downhill flow trail in the Alice Lake & Highlands area above Alice Lake, built around carrying speed through berms rather than hard braking. Riders commonly use it as a quick descent link within the Garibaldi Highlands network, and it’s typically ridden downhill only.

The original Rob's Corners was hand-built in 1997, then rebuilt in a “ham-fisted” manner in spring 2014 for the Test of Metal. Plan your run so you can stay in control through the berm sequence—fast entry speed is what makes the line feel smooth.

For access, you’ll ride in from the Alice Lake side near Ed's Bypass, typically starting by parking at the end of Perth Road and climbing up Mashiter. From there, enter via the Ham-Fisted dirt road to reach Rob's Corners.

Conditions matter here: loam and open dirt can get very soft after freeze/thaw and other winter transitions, and the trail can be impacted enough that riders recommend staying off until things dry out and firm up.
