Springtime Special

A dicey line on the lookers left side of Rock Garden. This line is visible front and center from the top of the gondola. It’s steep, exposed and intimidating. Are you gonna be the hero to rip it? Hike up Cliff Trail Gully to the top of Rock Garden, continue walking until the ridge spans out, bushwack along the right edge of Rock Garden until you reach a narrow, tree lined chute. Drop in and make tight turns until you reach the crux. A 5 foot air in the middle of the line. Drop this and land on the next ramp. Here the right wall of the chute drops off and becomes a 50 foot cliff. Stick the landing and whatever you do don’t turn too hard to the right! Dump your speed before the next crux, a short straight line or side slip to rejoin Rock Garden. This line is less intimidating when you’re in it, but still very committing and exposed, be prepared.
