Stage 27 Alpe-Adria-Trail: Tolmin - Tribil Superiore

This stage leads around Tolmin to the traces of the First World War and the Battles of the Isonzo between Italy and Austria-Hungary. The ascent over the Kolovrat is a highlight, rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the Alpine peaks and the Adriatic. The route partially follows a section of the famous Peace Trail. The area is considered a natural phenomenon due to its unique fauna and flora.
