Tee Harbour Trail
Tee Harbour Trail is a famous out-and-back hike in Sleeping Giant Provincial Park, branching off the Kabeyun Trail and leading to a rocky outcrop that juts into Lake Superior near Silver Islet.
Route length is about 12.4 km round-trip from the South Kabeyun Trailhead parking lot, usually done in roughly 3 to 4 hours.
The trail’s pitch is generally even, with modest elevation gain; plan around about 135 m total gain for the full out-and-back.
At the terminus, the Lake Superior shoreline opens up to an exposed view horizon, with islands frequently in the scene—Trowbridge Island, Silver Islet, and Isle Royale.
If you’re pacing for views, the out-and-back structure makes it straightforward to budget time: you’ll reach the harbour/outcrop, then retrace your steps back to the South Kabeyun Trailhead.
Sleeping Giant Provincial Park sits in boreal-forest country around Lake Superior, so expect rocky shore habitat and opportunities for birding in the wider area around Tee Harbour.
The harbour area is used for backcountry stays, with nine backcountry campsites located at the destination area—useful if you’re planning a multi-day itinerary rather than a day hike.
