Abri Belzebuth
Abri Belzebuth is a backcountry day shelter in Parc régional Montagne du Diable’s Mountain Sector (Versant Nord). It’s a wood shelter used as a stopover for park guests during the daytime, with reservation-based access to the beds at night. The hut sleeps up to 6 people and is equipped for self-catering (tables and benches, wood stove and heating wood, and 6 single beds).
To access the beds, a reservation is required and you must pick up your keys at Village des Bâtisseurs (P2) before going into the cabin area. Check-in is at 10:00 a.m. with departure at 10:00 a.m. Dogs aren’t allowed, and ATVs/snowmobiles are prohibited. Fire use is restricted to predetermined places, and there is no drinking water in the cabin (baggage transport can include bottled/treated drinking water for delivery).
Pricing and fees depend on season and occupancy: winter rates apply for December 20 to March 20, and spring/summer/autumn rates apply from March 21 to December 19. For members, the nightly base price covers 4 people and under, with set add-on prices for additional adults and children; park access fees of about $7.83 + taxes per adult, per night also apply if you’re not a member (18 and under are free). Overnight guests also need trail access fees for mountain activities, and baggage transportation is offered for delivering gear to the mountain (billed per bag return trip/transfer, with a minimum baggage quantity).
