Billy Ridge Trail (#1413) is an Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest hiking route that follows ground-surface tread and is managed for hiking use. The trail begins at Mad River Trail #1409 and ends at the Tyee Ridge Trail #1415 / Forest Road 5713 junction.

Length on this route is listed as 12.69 km. It is designated as a long-distance hiking member route, with no bicycle or horse use indicated for the route.

The route is part of the Entiat area trail system and is administered out of the Entiat Ranger District. Motorized use is restricted; the forest’s trail information notes motorized use is limited to trail bike.

On this trail, expect the route character to change from the lower Mad River corridor up toward higher ridge travel; a trip report for the Billy Ridge route describes progress along the ridge through old pine forest up to around 4800 ft, with Mad River valley views.

A detailed trip report also describes a burned-area section and later travel through drier pine forests, with a reported wash-out obstacle near 12 miles upstream of Pine Flats CG that required hikers to work around it. A separate trip report mentions encountering heavy downed-tree obstacles during its use period.

For planning: treat Billy Ridge as a long hike with known user-reported hazards (wash-out and downed trees), and be prepared for snow in the upper elevations later in the season—one report notes snow on the trail at about 13.5 miles.
