Boys of Porteau

Boys of Porteau is the leftmost sector of The Zip in Squamish’s Smoke Bluffs/Blind Channel Crags area. Most of the climbing is on slabs cut by broken crack systems, with both sport and trad lines.

The sector’s routes span 5.6 to 5.10d in Yosemite Decimal System grades. Examples include Do It Right the First Time (5.8, 10 m, three bolts), Overbolted (5.8, 10 m, five bolts), and Boys in the Wood (5.10b, 15 m, two bolts). The approach follows The Zip and is described as taking less than five minutes from that sector.
