Caniche Peak 2580m Prominence: 45m On the opposite side of Vista Pass from Tonquin Hill, Caniche was named by Arthur Wheeler because of its alleged resemblance to the head of a poodle. [i]Caniche[/i] is the French word for the poodle breed.
