Capitelle de Clary
Capitelle de Clary is a traditional dry-stone shelter in the garrigue hills near Aramon, France, built to shelter people and store harvest materials. It’s approached as a waypoint on the municipality’s free “Sentier des Capitelles” discovery walk, where the trail passes the structure as part of a loop starting from the parking area up Chemin de Sainte-Suzanne.
The shelter is a masonry capitelle (dry-stone) with an overall rectangular form. Local descriptions highlight five cypress trees guarding the entrance, and the walk route has you reach an esplanade from which you can continue onward through the capitelles network.
