Centro Turistico Comunitario
Centro Turistico Comunitario / Yaku Warmi is a community-run tourism lodge in Ecuador’s Amazon, used for cultural and nature visits from the Martinica Kichwa community. The main draw is observing pink river dolphins in the Cocaya River at its confluence with the Aguarico River, typically as part of guided outings.
The center provides basic lodging and traditional meals, plus local transport and jungle activities such as guided hiking/senderos in the forest and canoe trips. On-site there are five cabins and one restaurant, and the tourism offering is organized through commissions by member families.
For trip logistics, it’s reached from El Coca by boat to Nuevo Rocafuerte, then onward by slow canoe to the community area. Visitors can contact the community in advance to confirm the visit; the posted daily hours run 07:00–22:00.
