Chipmunk - Los Burros Connector Trail #631A

Chipmunk - Los Burros Connector Trail #631A (ref 631A) is a dirt connector in Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest that links Country Club Trail #632 with the Los Burros Trail network for longer hiking loops. It’s mapped as a horse-accessible route and also supports mountain biking.

The connector begins northwest of Chipmunk Springs, following the trail east. To reach it from the Country Club trailhead area, drive from Lakeside Ranger Station south on State Highway 260 toward McNary, turn left on Bucksprings Road, then continue to Forest Road 182 and Forest Road 185 past the Sierra Springs Ranch entrance; the trailhead is on the right where Forest Road 182 veers left, and you follow the trail east to the start of the connector.

For the Los Burros-side access, the trailhead is at the far end of Los Burros Campground. From there, follow the trail west to Reservation Flats; the connector starts at the southwest corner of Reservation Flats and runs from there toward Chipmunk Springs.
