Chuck Chuck

Chuck Chuck is a remote granite sport-climbing area in the Chuck Chuck Creek group north of Squamish, British Columbia. The area is organized into four crags: Chuck Chuck Wall, Inner Sanctum, The Lounge, and Clint Eastwood Crag.

Across the group, 42 routes span YDS 5.4 to 5.12c. Most are single-pitch sport climbs; Clint Eastwood Crag also includes routes of up to three pitches. Chuck Chuck Wall has 14 routes and reaches 19 m, while the other sectors include shorter walls and a longer 35 m face at Clint Eastwood Crag.

Approach from Highway 99 via the Alice Lake turnoff and Squamish Valley Road, then continue roughly 28 km to the logging-road turnoff near a bridge. The logging road has rough sections and waterbars; parking before the rougher driving can add about 20 minutes on an easy road. There is no cell service at the crags.

The granite dries quickly after light rain, although sustained wet weather can cause seepage on some routes. Plan for a self-sufficient day at this isolated climbing area.
