Cottonwood Cabin

Cottonwood Cabin is a USFS backcountry cabin on the Entiat River, in a lodgepole pine and spruce forest at about 3,000 feet. It’s a 20' x 16' cabin sized for four people and is accessible by car in summer; potable water is available in summer via a hand pump. Inside are hot and cold running water (summer months only), a propane cook stove, wall heater, refrigerator, and solar-powered lighting; outside there’s a private shower facility and a pit toilet. Solar powers the cabin’s water and light system, and a fire ring sits adjacent to the cabin on the riverbank.

For overnight use, it runs June–November and requires reservations. The overnight use fee is $90 per night (up to 4 people), with a minimum stay of two nights for non-holiday weekdays, three nights for a weekend, and three nights for a holiday weekend; the maximum stay is fourteen consecutive days. Stock corral use is available for $20/night, with up to four head permitted; visitors must bring their own weed-free hay or pellet-style feed for livestock. You may erect one outside tent at the designated tent pad for additional guests.
