Cracked Patella

Cracked Patella is a beginner-friendly mountain bike singletrack in Squamish’s Diamond Head riding area (Brackendale / “dump trails”). It’s short—about 0.4 miles—and built around forgiving riding, with a mostly flat character that makes it a good first taste of rooty technical singletrack.

The trail is known for being highly forgiving despite the name: expect lots of small roots and a ride that stays manageable rather than turning into a sustained climb. It’s also a common option during late spring and early summer, with a typical best riding window running from May through July.
