Gold City

Gold City is a downhill-only mountain bike descent at Sentiers du Moulin in Lac-Beauport, Quebec. The riding focus is fast flow: berms, rollers, and table-top-style jumps/launches built into a continuous descent line.

This trail is set up for intermediate riders but includes some advanced-level features mixed in. Plan on staying in control through jump sections—this is a jumping-skill required type of trail rather than a pure cruising descent.

The project opened in 2019 and has seen work to improve the flow feel, including a complete trail rebuild in spring 2023 to make it a flow trail. After rain or during wet conditions, scout the transitions and berm entries/exists before committing; loose/damp dirt can change how the berms and table features track.
