Granite/Broder Trail
Granite/Broder Trail (35E02) is a 4.8-mile multi-use route in the Kern Plateau area of Sequoia National Forest. It’s open to hiking, mountain biking, and motorcycle trail riding.
The trail starts off the Albanita Trail (35E06) and finishes when it connects with the Jackass Peak Trail (35E03).
For planning, the route is managed under the Kern River Ranger District; Kern River Ranger District recreation information is available by phone.
Campfire permits are required for campfires, barbeques, and camp stoves, and there’s no fee site information tied to the trail listing.
Surface mapping for the route is standard/terra (unpaved path). The trail is managed with a “Tread Lightly” style approach.
Off-highway vehicles are regulated on public lands with sticker requirements; hikers should still expect the same shared-use corridor where motorized traffic is allowed.
