Habanero

Habanero is an expert freeride/slopestyle jump line in the Maëlstrom sector of Sentiers du Moulin (Lac-Beauport, about 25 minutes from Québec City). The character is built around high, committing features rather than sustained pedaling.

Expect a mix of massive drops, large table tops, and step-down-style transitions, plus kickers and bermed turns feeding the lower section. It’s ridden as a downhill-only line, so plan your day around access to the top and one-direction commitment into the jumps.

The line is protected by big-build trail elements typical of the SDM freeride standard (with berms, bridges, drops, and multiple jump features integrated into the run). If you’re coming for air, do a walk-through/scout of the key lines first and reassess again in wet weather—these freeline jump features can change fast when conditions are slick or soft.
