Several families can barbecue their snacks at the three fire pits and enjoy them at the original tree-trunk tables. There is plenty of space for children to play and let off steam by the stream and between the trees. / Infrastructure: Fire pit with grill, firewood, shaded area, seating, table/picnic, WC (at the valley station) / Surroundings: Gravel, meadow/lawn, earth/forest, water / Reservation: not possible / Accessibility: Suitable for baby carriages, wheelchairs / How to get there: By car: Pass the monastery on Wydenstrasse. After 240 m turn right onto Wasserfallstrasse. 2 km to the valley station. Free bus from Engelberg railroad station to Fürenalpbahn valley station. On foot from Engelberg station, follow the signposted hiking trail in the direction of Eienwäldli - Fürenalpbahn valley station. After the valley station, follow the path a little further, then turn right into the forest.
