Alpine hutJumpup Cabin is a rustic log backcountry cabin on Kaibab National Forest, used by ranchers and the Forest Service since the 1900s and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The site includes a historic two-room cabin with a wood-burning stove for heat and a small kitchenette (no electricity, running water, or propane), plus a shed and a composting toilet. Inside, the open layout is split between a main living/cooking area and a bunk room with two sets of double-over-double bunk beds. Guests bring their own linens or sleeping bags, along with their own water and firewood; cooking/heat rely on the stove, and the cabin is a pack-it-out site.
