Kahutara Bivvy

Kahutara Bivvy is a basic 2-bunk backcountry hut in Ka Whata Tu o Rakihouia Conservation Park (Clarence) run by the Department of Conservation. Use is free and bookings are not required—arrive and use it on a first-come, first-served basis.

The hut has mattresses and a pit latrine. Drinking water is untreated, and there is no fireplace.
