La Corniche Trail
La Corniche Trail is a signature hike in Parc national du Mont-Tremblant that climbs to a lookout deck over the Lac Monroe area. The route is curated as a day hike and is commonly treated as part of the larger Roche, Coulée, and Corniche system in the park.
Expect a short outing: the route length is about 1.68 km on Outmap’s official linework, and it’s tiered as hiking route level 2 (famous-hike tiering). In practice, hikers often connect La Corniche with La Coulée (and sometimes La Roche) for a longer half-day circuit.
The most in-demand payoff is the viewpoint deck at La Corniche. It’s the spot to pause—especially if you’re timing for peak fall foliage when the area is frequently highlighted for its views over Lac Monroe.
Route character is steep in places and can feel rugged; sections may be slightly muddy depending on recent conditions, so plan for traction rather than dry-footing assumptions.
Dogs are permitted on leash, which is why the route is often used as a short, repeatable outing for hikers bringing pets.
If you’re doing only La Corniche, treat it as a quick hike to the deck; if you want the full “Roche–Coulée–Corniche” experience, plan for more time to cover the combined loop and viewpoints.
