Lake Lillian Trail

Lake Lillian Trail is an Alpine Lakes Wilderness day-hike/out-and-back route in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, on the approach to Lake Lillian off the Margaret Lake area near Snoqualmie Pass.

Route length is about 8.5 miles out-and-back, with total elevation gain cited around 2,700–2,800 feet (varies slightly with nearby Rampart/Margaret lake options).

From the Margaret Lake Trailhead area (access via Forest Road 4934), the route climbs through clearcut and then into old-growth forest before reaching a ridge junction with Lake Margaret Trail #1332.

The ridge segment is the heavy work: it involves a steep face up to the ridgeline and an extended uphill over and near Mount Margaret’s area before turning down toward the lake country.

Descent brings you past Twin Lakes and Lake Laura, then the final approach steepens again as you work up to the shores of Lake Lillian.

Forest rules for this route are hiker-only (no motorized or mechanized use). Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash, and the trail is managed under hiker access restrictions as it enters the wilderness.
