Les Sept-Chutes Trail

Les Sept-Chutes Trail is a day-hike option inside Parc régional des Sept-Chutes in Saint-Zénon, Quebec, centered on the Boucle des Sept Chutes. The loop is about 11 km and is commonly completed in roughly 4 to 4.5 hours.

This route is aimed at hikers comfortable with intermediate to difficult terrain: steep and rocky sections appear, and progress may require the use of support ropes on the rougher parts of the loop.

The climb-and-ridge character ties together maple groves around Mont Barrière (610 m) and the rocky ridges of Mont Brassard (650 m). The route is also described as passing major viewpoints tied to Mont Barrière and Mont Brassard.

A key landmark on the hike is the “Voile de la Mariée” waterfall, listed as about 60 m tall (200 feet), reached via the trail that follows the rivière Noire.

Plan around elevation change: the route is described with about 600 m of gain. Proper footwear matters because the terrain includes large rocks and rugged sections.

The loop is supported by park facilities and services at the regional park level, with an emphasis on access fees and day-use registration when the welcome area is closed (payment is handled at the pay station or online).
