Magneto

Magneto is an expert downhill singletrack at Sentiers du Moulin in Lac Beauport (near Sentier des Moulins). Plan to ride it one-way (downhill only) with a high level of technical commitment: it’s built around slow-speed precision as you work through steep rock faces, roots, awkward turns, and other greasy, hard-to-smooth-over features.

The trail is designed as a minimal “old school” line with no real avoidance options once you’re committed, and it sits on long sections of granit. Because the terrain can get slippery and unforgiving, scout/inspect the committed sections before you ride—especially after rain or when conditions are wet—then commit only if you’re confident you can control braking and line choice on the tech. Ride with full protective gear and don’t go alone.
