Alpine hutPechuck Lookout is a BLM wilderness hut-style fire lookout in northwest Oregon, built as a cupola lookout and used for public visitation and overnight use on a first-come, first-served basis. The structure sits at about 4,338 ft elevation, was established in 1918, and originally consisted of a primitive fire detection rangefinder before a small stone-and-wood cabin was added in the early 1930s.
The lookout sits just outside the Table Rock Wilderness and is reached from multiple trailheads; the Rooster Rock trailhead on the southeast corner of the Table Rock Wilderness is the most popular access point. It’s also listed on the National Historic Lookout Register (1990) and the World Fire Lookout Register (1992).
