The park, which was built in 1948 by the Municipality of Vejle, is approx. 30 hectares after an expansion in spring 2013. Here live two different deer species; ca. 50 deer and 10 "sikaer". Deers are usually shy animals, and if you want to see them in the open, you should get up early in the morning, where they will emerge in the clearings and grasses. The deers in this park, on the other hand, are used to humans, and you can watch them from up close. No feeding the deers - although you might see some people do that. It messes up the nutrition rythm for those animals.
