Poule à ski
Poule à ski is a short, old-school singletrack at Sentiers du Moulin in Lac-Beauport. The line is deliberately technical for its size: expect tight turns, surprises, and sections that demand careful bike control through rocky/rooty terrain.
The trail was built by volunteers entirely by hand in 2006–2007, and it remains a “simple trace” thread through the forest rather than a wide-surface cruiser. It’s ridden both directions, and it’s set up for mountain bikes rather than casual trail touring.
At Sentiers du Moulin, Poule à ski sits in the XC network for the Sentiers du Moulin area, which means conditions can shift fast with precipitation. If it’s been raining or the surface is holding moisture, inspect entry/exit lines and any rock-and-root sections before committing—wet slick rock can turn small mistakes into big losses of traction.
