QMG

QMG is an intermediate “blue” tech descent in the Sentiers du Moulin (SDM) network in Lac-Beauport. The ride is built around rock rolls and rollable drops, with technical modules that reward controlled line choice rather than raw speed.

The trail is singletrack and concentrates a technical feature set such as bermed sections, bridges, drops/jumps, and rock-faced/rock-surface riding. It’s also set up for e-bikes (Class 1), which helps if you want to keep your energy for repeated practice runs.

QMG was developed by SDM trail builders together with the QMG group (about 400 hours of work, including 200 hours of volunteer time). The descent was built to be a progression link into harder SDM lines, but it still includes multiple committed features (notably many rock rolls and drops).

Before you commit on ride-day, do a quick scout of the harder modules and reassess grip after wet weather: the SDM network publishes daily opening/closure updates, and rain can trigger partial closures or mode shifts across sectors.
