Redcliff Hut

Redcliff Hut is a basic two-bunk backcountry hut in the Takitimu Conservation Area (Southland). It’s run by the Department of Conservation and use is free on a first-come, first-served basis—no bookings are required. The hut has mattresses, a fireplace, and toilets (pit latrine), but no drinking water is provided; bring what you need or plan to collect it elsewhere.
