Refuge de l'Arpont
Refuge de l'Arpont is a staffed backcountry hut in the Vanoise area, used as a stop on multi-day glacier outings on the Tour des Glaciers de la Vanoise circuit. Use is organized with periods of guard presence and periods when the hut is not kept.
During the guarded season it operates with regular accommodation services (radio beacon; stove/poêle; warm coverage items; dry WC). The refuge is open and staffed from 23 February to 20 April 2026, and it also reopens for a second staffed window from 6 June to 18 September 2026.
In the non-guarded period, there is no online reservation possible; plan for self-sufficiency accordingly. The hut’s official contact details and booking workflow are handled through the refuge’s own booking page, with a dedicated phone number both for guarded and non-guarded times.
