Saga
Saga is a 2.5-mile, one-way mountain bike singletrack at Sentiers du Moulin in Lac-Beauport, Quebec. It’s built as a committing descent with no bailout options and no easy line options, so plan to ride it as a sustained tech push rather than a casual segment.
The trail drops about 687 ft with very little climbing, and it’s treated as black diamond / hard in physical difficulty. Expect a technical mix of steep rock-slab rolls, rock gardens, slick root webs, skinny wooden bridges, and multiple steeper variations—there are also double-black options along the descent.
Saga also stands out for its recent construction work: it opened in 2025 after a major build that combined roughly 2,000 hours invested by the trail crew plus more than 2,000 volunteer hours. If you’re targeting lines near exposed features, do a quick scout-in person before committing, especially after rain when traction on slabs and roots can change quickly.
