Top Mad Hatter

Top Mad Hatter is a short, downhill-oriented singletrack in the Alice Lake & Highlands area of Squamish. It’s graded as a blue (intermediate) ride and is typically run as part of a flow-style loop that links into the lower Mad Hatter trail.

Expect a feature-heavy line built around speed and rhythm: berms, jumps, and ladder bridges show up along the descent. The trail takes about 8 minutes to ride, so it’s the kind of segment you can lap as part of a longer afternoon at the Mad Hatter network.

Ride it with a conservative setup when conditions get sloppy: check for wet sections and any reduced traction on landings or bridge approaches before committing, and do a quick scout of the committed bits if the surface is damp.
