Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee
Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee is a short singletrack drop-in in the Alice Lake & Highlands network near Diamond Head in Squamish—built for quick laps and riding connections off nearby trail options. The ride is downhill-primary, with a measured length around 322 ft (100 m) and an overall focus on punchy speed rather than long distance.
Despite its short footprint, it has defined technical moments: it’s used as a compact skill check with at least one raised-log style feature plus another log-over style section, which is why it’s better suited to riders comfortable rolling through technical trail furniture rather than only smooth flow.
For access, the closest practical trailheads are typically the Alice Lake Provincial Park day-use area or the Birch Street parking area. For planning, it’s most consistently ridden from late spring through early fall (May through September).
Trail etiquette matters here because the trail can widen quickly in muddy spots—stay centered through wet patches to limit “social” braiding, and yield to other users since the area is multi-use (mountain bikes, e-bikes, hiking, and trail running).
