In 1889, a railway was built between Tyfors and Neva. The track width was 802 mm. In the first years, the carriages were pulled by horses. In 1910, the gang Tyfors Annefors was added. The stretch Neva-Annefors then belonged to SVJ, Säfsnäsverken railway. In 1964, the last train ran on the Fredriksberg-Neva line.
