From April to October you can spend your short vacation on one of the 6 motorhome sites near the  city lake in Baumholder. / If you intend to stay in Baumholder out of season, please contact the city office, as in the winter months the supply and disposal is limited or not available at all due to the weather. Also the water is turned off because of the danger of frost and the public toilet is closed. / Fresh water supply (80 l cost 1,- Euro), electricity supply (4 kWh cost 1,- Euro) and the possibility for waste water disposal (ground inlet as well as disposal station) offer campers for a stay of up to three days (8,- Euro parking fees / day) an optimal quality of stay. / The pitches will be redesigned in 2020 with the renovation of the generation pitch and are expected to open in autumn 2020. / In the immediate vicinity there are three food markets with bakeries (of which the bakery nearby is also open on Sundays) as well as various fast food restaurants and local gastronomy.
