WP 16a - Syphax West Face Option - 11 U 497169 E / 5644890 N - 2785m Warning: Fairly serious! Steep and unsupported but with good conditions it is a wicked route over Syphax. Troy Jungen, Douglas Sproul and Jon Walsh travelled via this route in a north to south direction during their April, 2005 Rogers to Bugs in 80 hours. Ascending Syphax North Face under a full moon, the team gained a bench and traversed to the south glacier that sat, fully illuminated by moon light.
