King Ravine

Backcountry descentKing Ravine via Short Line Trail
Ski tourThe Short Line approach joins King Ravine Trail near Mossy Fall. Beyond the junction, the route steepens into the ravine's boulder field. Snow can conceal deep spaces between the blocks rather than eliminate them, making the final approach more involved than the forest trail below.

Backcountry descentGreat Gully
Backcountry descentGreat Gully follows the prominent snowy gully on King Ravine's headwall. Its middle narrows and can be interrupted by an ice flow; skiers have used a variation to the right in the lower part when that section is blocked. Verify the central passage before committing to the descent.
