Take caution and dismount your bike when a train passes.

Better take the stairs
I carried my bike over the structure below, but ended up having to push my bike back on the main trail further east. Taking the stairs prevents that.
waypoint
Tunnels; bike light recommended

waypoint
Back to quiet
The route around Petrer doesn't have a suitable alternative and is the only section of Caminos del Sol I didn't like riding as it's noisy and busy from the tunnels until this point.

Narrow singletrack
My front wheel slipped away from underneath me on this trail. Better take it slow and don't take risks.
waypoint
Pas del Comptador
Gorgeous pass at 947m in height.
waypoint
Gate controlled by water management
The only real point of unpredictability on Caminos del Sol is this gate from CHJ, the confederation that manages the Guadalest reservoir, and could be closed on your climb out of the river valley. However, it seemed permanently open, as it gives access to the path by the river below. IF this is closed, either climb over the gate, or backtrack to Restaurante El Riu and follow the CV-755 to get back here.
