Beaver River
This crossing can be difficult, especially in low snowpack seasons. There are some epic 'Beaver River' stories floating around out there. We didn't have a problem with the crossing on our tourl. Easy-Peasy!

Golden to Rogers Pass Traverse 21-1
This treed flank was chosen for ascent due to the team having limited glacier/crevasse gear. It's steep and difficult but it went. We chose to go light so this route was chosen to minimize our exposure to crevasses. The toe of both the Eagle and Uto glacier's are more serious but if your team has the gear, they are both fine routes. A team that did the traverse two years ago finished via the Sir Donald / Uto Col.

Sir Donald / Uto Option
Optional Route. More serious glacier travel as well as steeper slopes to navigate. Overall, more difficult than the blue route through Avalanche Mountain. A Winter Permit is not required for this area. A Parking Permit is not required for Asulkan. You will however, need a National Park Pass. These are available from Parks Canada.
