About 4 to 6 inches of snow at start of hike, but beginning about half way up, 12 to 18 inches in some places. No obvious trail and misleading flagging along with a lot of overgrown bush makes this a challenging navigation trail in winter. Weather on hike day was Sunny, -10Β°C at start, -2Β°C at finish, and no wind.

If gate is closed on town ship road 210B head over to the mesa butte provincial area, road dips down to a bridge which is gated. Park here. Follow road until first left, follow it up to the clear cut and contiune up. Having GPS track is key as some parts are overgrown

There is no track to the summit of this peak. There is some dead-fall but game-trails avoid the worst. This route is both shorter and has less elevation gain than approach from the west over Horton Peak, as suggested in Gillean Dafferns guide book to Kananaskis.

Other than having to get access permission from the lease-holding rancher, this is the easiest 2-pointer ever, with nice views en route and from the operating area up top -- which is roomy and has some large trees for shelter / antenna support. There are multiple viable routes from the road which are visually fairly obvious although a few sections crossing open woods where there is no delineated trail. This track gives an idea of one fairly direct approach which avoids steeper sections. 1st activation in winter had no cows present but there are signs it is a busy pasture area in summer!

Easy Bushwack
Park on the side of the road and start straight up the old logging access cut-line. There is no hiking trail, just follow game trails, initially along a clear cut-line, then through new-growth trees. At the edge of the logging cut enter steeper terrain and follow game trails through open forest to the summit ridge.

Easy pleasant hike
Apologies for the poor quality track. I had difficulty getting a good gps signal while hiking. The hike is along the edge of an old clear cut. There are game trails, but no hiking trail. By Canadian standardsthis is a short, easy hike.
