Couloir de Poubelle

Poubelle is a narrow, rock-walled couloir dropping from the Bochard side of Les Grands Montets into Pas de Chèvre. A February 2015 descent account describes rappelling over rocks at its constricted entrance before skiing the enclosed channel into the broader slopes below.

Another party’s February 2015 account records retreating after the surface proved icy despite looking chalky from above. These historical reports describe the entrance and terrain, not present snow conditions or the current glacier exit.
