Couloir « Émile Allais »

Émile Allais is an enclosed couloir beside Grand Couloir, with an exit onto the Combe Saulire piste. Wolf’s January 2025 account identifies the narrow ridge approach as the awkward access section and distinguishes the upper entrance from a later entry that bypasses its top. The account treats it as off-piste despite avalanche mitigation on the neighboring Grand Couloir.
