Route Details

Four Lakes Trail is a green-rate, multi-use loop in Alice Lake Provincial Park near Squamish. Expect a low-key ride with gentle climbs and a mix of trail bed, curving sections, and occasional wet spots on dirt and roots.

For riding windows, mountain biking is restricted from May 1 to September 15; outside that window, use the loop as a straightforward option and connect it to neighboring networks when you want more riding. Riders also should plan around the fact that the portion between Edith Lake and Alice Lake is permanently closed to bikes.

Bring a strategy for wet-weather days: after rain, the route can be muddy, and downed debris can appear on the trail. Inspect for obstacles before committing, and scout any sections that look slick or rutted before rolling through.
